Endometriosis Awareness Month

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month and is highlighted all over the world.

It is estimated that 176 million women suffer from this debilitating disease, and it is a chief cause of female infertility.

Statistically, one woman in 10 struggles with this medical problem.

Quote:
“Endometriosis is a condition in which cells similar to the lining of the uterus, or endometrium, grow outside the uterus.
Endometriosis often involves the pelvic tissue and can envelop the ovaries and fallopian tubes. It can affect nearby organs, including the bowel and bladder”.

The ripple effect of this illness can impact personal and professional relationships, mental health, and quality of life.

Is it hereditary?

This is not proven.
Just because your mother and grandmother had the problem so …….therefore, an expectation or acceptance of your condition seems apparent.

A chronic health condition can be explored holistically so that easing of symptoms and levels of healing can be achieved.

There’s often an emotional root cause behind endometriosis and finding that is the first step to healing your condition.
